Acupuncture

Oriental Medicine has been practiced for over 2000 years.  This form of Alternative Medicine is comprehensive for the diagnosis and effective treatment of acute and chronic disorders, plus can be considered the first line of preventative healthcare and health maintenance.

Each person receives individualized attention to determine what type of treatment would be most effective for them on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level.

Cupping

Cupping is an Ancient Chinese method of relieving local congestion, using glass or plastic cups and a suction pump to create a vacuum on the skin, causing blood stasis and localized healing to take place.  Cupping has been found to be effective in reaching up to 4 inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activating the lymphatic system, which helps to activate and clear veins, arteries and capilaries, helps to clear stretch marks and improves varicose veins.  And although there are some for whom cupping would not be advised, ( those with serious heart troubles or diseases prone to bleeding, pregnant or menstruating women, people suffering from cancer, people with trauma or bone fractures) it is a very beneficial, comfortable and safe deep tissue massage.  *It is a common result to have round, blueish discolorations in the areas where there was a lot of stagnant chi.  We like to call them "Faux Bruises"
